More to come as time permits.
I find most of my inspiration from the natural world around me as well as from architecture, astrology, mythology, antropology, psychology — hmm . . . probably should have said, “Ology.” Color, light, line, and form captivate me nearly every moment of the day. As I child, no doubt, I would have been classified as having attention deficit disorder had that been a popular diagnosis back then — when in reality, as an artist the lenses through which I view my world are so rich, that it takes great effort to filter out so much stimuli, thus, to others I can appear flighty at times.
A camera is my constant companion, and imagine my delight when digital cameras became so much more available (and affordable). Being a Photoshop maven, I’ve used my own photos for many years as a source for color palettes and inspiration for weaving as well as other textile arts. Mother nature never screws up when it comes to color combining.
